Vizo Financial donated $10,000 earlier this year to the National Credit Union Foundation’s CUAid disaster relief fund to help credit union employees and volunteers in response to the wildfires in Los Angeles.
In January and February, Vizo Financial made a collective $2,453.19 donation to our four local food banks through our Meals Around the Corporate fundraiser. Throughout this time, staff were encouraged to get cooking and share recipes/foodie photos on our intranet. For every entry, the Corporate donated money toward one of the following food banks: Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Midwest Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank. Shout out to all staff who participated in this fun opportunity to raise money for a great cause!
In February, Vizo Financial employees at all of our campuses had the opportunity to purchase daffodils or tulips in support of Daffodil Days for the American Cancer Society. Each spring, the daffodil serves as a symbol of HOPE for cancer patients. What better way to put a smile on someone’s face and, at the same time, put HOPE in the hearts of cancer patients?
