In a world where tensions run high and uncertainty plagues our day-to-day lives, credit unions act as a bright spot through the chaos. Despite everything, we are a movement that has a mission worthy of celebrating.
That’s exactly what we’ve seen this month as we celebrated International Credit Union (ICU) Day on October 16, and it’s what we see as CU Kind celebrations continue in our credit union communities!
As we look over the 100+ years of our history, and over the past few weeks, our philosophy of pooling resources for the greater good – people helping people – has never wavered. In fact, it might be more apparent than ever. From the photos, stories and celebrations we’ve seen, it’s still very much the cornerstone of what we do today.
This year’s ICU Day theme of “Cooperation for a Prosperous World” certainly spoke to that, as does the grassroots nod to concern for community with CU Kind, which will carry on through the remainder of October.
These special days share the importance of our mission and elevate our visibility. In a time when it’s hard to see the light, credit unions shine brightly by working together and helping people.
Two days, one mission…and a movement that seeks to empower us all. Thank you for celebrating with us!
It’s official…2026 will be here before we know it!
With holidays and year-end tasks taking up a lot of your time these days, we wanted to make sure to share our 2026 event lineup with you well in advance. Who doesn’t like to plan ahead, right? Check out the credit union events Vizo Financial will be holding next year!

Maybe it’s not a question of did you know, but more so did you notice some of the updates we’ve recently made to our website? If you haven’t, now is the time to check them out!
For a more streamlined and efficient experience, we’ve made changes to improve the look and navigation on our Upcoming Webinars, Webinar Recordings and Podcast pages.
Upcoming Webinars
Want to peruse our upcoming educational offerings? Find exactly what you’re looking for using the new filter options on our Upcoming Webinars page! We’ve updated this page so you can search by category of webinars – whether you’re looking for money management, payments, people development, risk management or technology – so you can locate the perfect virtual learning opportunity for you.
And just because the page looks different and can be searched more easily doesn’t mean we’ve left anything out – you’ll still get all the webinar info at a glance, including the title, date, time, speaker and CPE value (if applicable). Once you’ve found one that meets your criteria, click the “Register Now” button to go to the registration site for the full event description and to RSVP.
Webinar Recordings
With much of the same look and functionality as the Upcoming Webinars page, the Webinar Recordings page is now more user-friendly. When looking for a specific recording, filter by category to expedite your search, get speaker information and the recording date and click the “Watch Recording Now” dropdown to watch on-demand, as well as access any handouts.
Podcast Page
Like to listen to or watch our Financial Minds: Meet the Experts podcast? Now you can more easily! Each episode is displayed with the episode season/number, title and special guest. The audio version of the episode is then displayed below for one-click, easy access.
If you click on the “Listen Now” button, a dropdown will appear with links to other places where you can stream the podcast, including Apple Podcast, Spotify and YouTube. Here you’ll also find an “Episode Resources” link to view the episode description.
We invite you to check out these refreshed pages to see how we’re making improvements to our website for a better member experience. Have fun exploring!
Cybersecurity is no small concern for credit unions…it’s a big deal with big impacts. And just because your credit union may be on the smaller side with fewer resources doesn’t mean that you can’t protect your information.
That’s especially true now that Vizo Financial and our partners at DefenseStorm are offering DefenseStorm Essentials, our newest cyber risk management solution. Let us tell you a little more about it:
What is DefenseStorm Essentials?
DefenseStorm Essentials is a bundled solution that delivers co-managed cyber threat monitoring and regulatory compliance support, designed specifically to provide essential protections to help smaller credit unions build a robust security foundation.
It’s an ideal fit for credit unions that want to expand their ability to prevent, identify, assess and manage cyber threats; consolidate data into a single “source of truth”; improve data gathering and reporting capabilities; and reduce false positives, as well as prioritize cyber events.
Who is eligible for DefenseStorm Essentials?
Because this solution is built for smaller institutions, organizations must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
What problems does the DefenseStorm Essentials solution solve for credit unions?
DefenseStorm Essentials provides the coverage, visibility and compliance readiness smaller institutions need, but may not have the resources for. Here’s how:
We said it once and we’ll say it again – cybersecurity is essential for credit unions of all sizes. It’s time to level the playing field with DefenseStorm Essentials!
As we recently announced, Vizo Financial and MY CU Services are preparing to convert share draft processing, returns and image archives to the TranZact platform in the second quarter of 2026.

Empowerment Grants with CrossState Credit Union Foundation
Vizo Financial recently funded a third year of Empowerment Grants with the CrossState Credit Union Foundation to be shared with credit unions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our Empowerment Grants program is designed to provide funding for credit union foundations to distribute to the institutions they serve so they can implement financial wellness initiatives that improve and celebrate their local communities.
Victory Junction’s Run to Victory Run/Walk Event
Vizo Financial was once again a Victory Lane sponsor for the Run to Victory annual 5k and Fun Run to benefit Victory Junction on September 13, 2025. Vizo Financial Day of Service
All Vizo Financial campuses participated in the Corporate’s fifth annual Day of Service, which was held on Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day, October 13, 2025. Staff had the opportunity to volunteer with one of several organizations in their local communities. These organizations included:
Financial Reality Fairs
Throughout the fall, Vizo Financial staff members have and will continue to participate in several financial reality fairs across Pennsylvania. These events were held by various credit unions in Pennsylvania.
Financial reality fairs are designed so that participants can identify potential career choices and starting salaries, then complete a budget sheet requiring them to live within their monthly salary while paying for basics such as housing, utilities, transportation, clothing, food and additional expenditures such as entertainment and travel.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Toys for Tots
In preparation for the season of giving, staff at each of Vizo Financial’s campuses will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots through November and December. Toys for Tots, an annual campaign held by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, has a mission to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute them as Christmas gifts for underserved children.

Your credit union has no shortage of data in your core platform—but transforming that data into timely, personalized member engagement has long been a challenge. Traditional member engagement tactics often rely on broad campaigns or require lengthy and resource intensive cycles to extract the data needed for personalization. But what if the data and analytics needed for personalization and growth were presented to your credit union easily, consistently and repeatedly—without ad-hoc requests for Corelation extracts?
You’ll hear from a peer credit union who has leveraged the Corelation data extraction, purpose built for Vertice AI, to transform their core data into insights that have helped them better know, grow and measure their membership in weeks. Additionally, you’ll hear how your relationship with Vizo Financial gains you access to exclusive pricing and terms for adopting the Vertice AI Solution.
